About the event

Join me from 19th–29th September 2026 on a special journey through the North Indian states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. We will be staying at an assortment of different locations - ranging from 5 star hotels, to a rural retreat centre, and even a Buddhist nunnery. Our activities will include daily yoga sessions, taking leisurely walks through pine forests and local villages, trying out delicious regional dishes, and connecting with the other retreat participants. The monsoon will have come to a close around early Sept, leaving us with clear, fresh weather & good views.

Where?

Our adventure begins in Delhi, India’s vibrant capital, before traveling to the holy city of Amritsar, and onward to the serene Kangra region in Himachal Pradesh, where fresh mountain air and breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar Range await.

What?

Throughout the journey, we’ll visit places of deep spiritual significance across different faiths. You’ll witness firsthand the devotion that flows through everyday life in India. From bustling city streets to the quiet rhythms of rural village life, this itinerary offers a balanced and immersive experience—at a comfortable, unhurried pace.

Designed as the antithesis of commercial tourism, this trip encourages observation, learning, and curiosity. It’s an opportunity to find peace amidst the chaos, embrace the contrasts of Indian society, and take meaningful time to reflect and recharge.

Daily yoga sessions—morning and evening—are an integral part of the experience.

Yoga

We will practice according to the Iyengar method, known for its accessibility and thoroughness, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike. The Iyengar method is unique in it's innovative and creative usage of props to expand and extend one's practice.

This trip is ideal for those with a good base level of health and fitness. We’ll explore many places on foot, including a day hike in hilly terrain. Prior yoga experience isn’t required—just an open mind and enthusiasm to learn.
